This ceramic ocarina is made of Tan (409) quality clay, glazed with food safe glazes, and fired in an electric kiln. It is tuned in Pentatonic Modes 1 & 4 - which is the most popular Native American Style tuning, in the Key of High Cm, with 8 playing holes (6 finger and 2 thumb holes). It is a great complement to the Native American Style Flute. The lace is made of fine Rayon cord. A fingering chart is included. Size: 3 3/4" long, 3" wide and 1 1/2" tall. Playing range: Cm5 to Em6. Note for purchasing this item for a child: Since this ocarina is ceramic, it can break on a hard surface, such as concrete or tile, and can therefore be dangerous for small children.
